Greetings, all you babes out in Babeland! I hope your day is going well. Your hair looks great today. On this episode of Babes to Know, we talk with Brooke Cartus: comedian, activist, celebrity bartender and recent presenter of a GD TED TALK!
Brooke and I discuss the politics of performing as a queer woman on stage. Before the interview, she told me she had been looking for a way to talk about it on stage, and hadn’t yet found an opportunity to do so. Since we at Babes to Know are all about telling the untold story, we were happy to provide Brooke the opportunity to discuss her motivation to perform and to keep being visible.
